Adventure is my life. Just as I am always looking to expand my own story, I’m hungry for everyone else’s story. In 2002, I ripped off my “golden handcuffs” and left my comfortable, rent-controlled San Francisco life and headed to a place I thought I’d always hated- Los Angeles. It was the best and biggest adventure of my life.

I sublet furnished apartments around Los Angeles moving every two months (via Craigslist) for two years (another great adventure). I had no place to live, but had a full time office job (my greatest fear) in post production. This time I was handcuffed to a job (and not a City). I hated the 9-5 routine but loved the fascinating people. I gained editing skills, learned about shooting video and learned how to record audio.

Once again I ripped off the golden handcuffs quitting that 9-5 day job for another adventure. But I had no idea what it was.  I knew it didn’t matter. I just had to make a change. As they say when we take action, The how works itself out.

Now, I had my condo. No day job. No clear sense of direction. So, I just stepped out. The UCLA Writer’s Faire seminar changed my life 2 1/2 years ago. I knew New Media (podcasts, blogs, webcasts, weblogs, Facebook, Twitter) was the industry for me.

I started building my own brand with Sizzle in the Middle.com and SizzleCaster.com producing web shows podcasts and writing my blog. Now, I help create and develop personal branding through Web Testimonials for other businesses to help people get their message out and build internet buzz as I continue building my brand on Sizzle in the Middle.

“Now is the time” internet sensation (and author of “Crush It!”) Gary Vaynerchuk of Wine Library TV yells from the rooftops about this new way of sharing content, your message, your ideas, your business, your service.

As the saying goes, “Once you make a decision (then feel it and take action) the Universe Conspires to make it happen.”
